KNOWLEDGE ATLAS Rebounds ~14% After Unveiling Multimodal Model Fully Trained on CN-Made Chips
2026-01-14 13:21:24 Semi-IPO KNOWLEDGE ATLAS (02513.HK) unveiled today (14th) a new multimodal model that it claimed to be China's first model fully trained using Chinese-made chips, according to Chinese media reports. KNOWLEDGE ATLAS disclosed that its open-source image generation model "GLM-Image" is the first top-tier multimodal model trained on Ascend chips developed by Huawei Technologies. It was built on Huawei's Ascend Atlas 800T A2 servers and the MindSpore framework, and these servers are also equipped with Huawei's Kunpeng processors and Ascend AI chips. KNOWLEDGE ATLAS' stock price opened 7.1% higher this morning, successfully reversing yesterday’s losses.
