Citi Reiterates Buy on HSBC HOLDINGS w/ TP Lifted to HKD138.3

Citi has released a research report lowering its 2025-27 EPS estimates for HSBC HOLDINGS (00005.HK) by 0-1%, considering the Federal Reserve's interest rate cut forecasts.

The broker believes that HSBC HOLDINGS can achieve a RoTE of around 19-20% by 2027 to 2028.

After incorporating the 2028 forecast, Citi has reiterated a Buy rating on HSBC HOLDINGS and raised its target price from HKD127.8 to HKD138.3.
