CHINA VANKE (02202.HK) stumbled 2.3% after its proposal to extend the principal of its domestic bonds by one year failed to pass. Its peers CIFI HOLD GP (00884.HK) cratered 3.6%, while KAISA GROUP (01638.HK), R&F PROPERTIES (02777.HK), COUNTRY GARDEN (02007.HK), and LONGFOR GROUP (00960.HK) each fell between 1.2% and 2.3%. As for CSPC PHARMA (01093.HK), it spiked 7.6%, making it the best-performing blue chip. The company's chairman spent HK$110 million yesterday to increase his shareholding. Other pharmaceuticals were meager, with WUXI APPTEC (02359.HK) and WUXI BIO (02269.HK) closing down 2% and 1% respectively.
