Samsung's Subsidiary Acquires ZF Group's ADAS Unit for EUR1.5B

Samsung Electronics' subsidiary Harman International acquired the advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) business of Germany's ZF Group for EUR1.5 billion, marking its foray into the highly competitive automotive electronics market.

Harman International remarked that the deal will ensure Samsung's leading position in the field of in-vehicle smart cameras and allow the company to utilize ZF Group's radar and automotive computing businesses.
