APEC Finance Ministers' Meeting to Be Held in HK in Oct 2026

China will be the host of the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) in 2026. The Central Government announced today (12th) that the APEC Finance Ministers' Meeting (FMM) 2026 will be held in Hong Kong in October 2026.

Chief Executive John Lee expressed gratitude to the Central Government for its trust and support, and said that the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR) Government will leverage Hong Kong's experience and strength as an international financial centre to ensure the successful organization of the FMM in Hong Kong.

Hong Kong will also seize this opportunity to deepen international exchanges and cooperation, better integrating into and serving the overall national development.
