2025-11-19 10:10:55 AAC TECH (02018.HK) entered into an agreement to acquire the shares and other equity securities in Dispelix Oy, an AR diffractive waveguide technology company, with the transaction expected to be completed in 1H26, Citi Research issued a research report saying. The broker believed that this acquisition will expand AAC TECH's product mix and solution capabilities in the XR field, covering acoustics, haptic feedback, MEMS, camera lens & lens modules, structural parts and waveguide technology, so as to shift from focusing primarily on domestic AR glasses customers to seizing future global opportunities in AI and AR glasses development.
