Richard Liu: JD to Establish World's First Fully Unmanned Delivery Station Next Apr
2025-11-07 12:34:05 JD-SW (09618.HK) founder Richard Liu delivered a speech at the World Internet Conference (WIC), remarking that JD's sorting center in Beijing has essentially replaced 90% of human labor with robots. He revealed that JD will establish the world's first fully unmanned delivery station next April. Liu mentioned that unmanned truck technology has matured and has been tested internally at JD for hundreds of thousands of kilometers, only awaiting regulatory approval. Discussing future intelligent technology, Liu envisioned that employees may only need to work one day or even one hour a week in future.
