2025-11-07 00:26:40 Gold prices hovered below USD4,000 per ounce on Thursday, as a weaker dollar, along with concerns over the prolonged US government shutdown and tariff legality, boosted safe-haven demand. Spot gold edged down to USD3,977.8 per ounce. Gold futures for December delivery fell by USD6.3 or 0.1% to USD3,987.7 per ounce. Silver futures for December delivery dropped by 0.8% to USD47.62 per ounce. Copper futures for December delivery decreased by 0.6% to USD4.955 per pound. Platinum futures for January delivery slipped by 3.1% to USD1,513.9 per ounce.
