2025-11-06 16:40:33 Nissan Motor (7201.JP) recorded a loss of JPY221.9 billion (approx. US$1.4 billion) for the first half of the fiscal year ended September, compared to a profit of JPY19.2 billion in the same period last year, due to US tariff policies and weak sales in the Japanese and US markets. During the period, Nissan Motor's global sales were 1.48 million units, with revenue of JPY5.58 trillion, down 6.8% YoY. The Company recorded an operating loss of JPY27.7 billion, compared to an operating profit of JPY32.9 billion in the same period of the previous fiscal year. For 2FQ ended September alone, revenue was JPY2.87 trillion, down 3.8% YoY.
