New Basic Medical Insurance Drug List and First Commercial Insurance Innovative Drug List to be Implemented in Mainland CN Next Yr

China's National Healthcare Security Administration (NHSA) recently organized negotiations and price consultations for the 2025 National Basic Medical Insurance Drug List and the Commercial Insurance Innovative Drug List, reported CCTV.

The negotiations successfully concluded. During this period, 120 domestic and foreign enterprises participated on-site, with 127 drugs outside the National Basic Medical Insurance Drug List and 24 drugs for the Commercial Insurance Innovative Drug List.

After completing relevant technical, administrative, and legal procedures, the new National Basic Medical Insurance Drug List and the Commercial Insurance Innovative Drug List are planned to be released online and offline simultaneously in Guangzhou on the first weekend of next month, and will be officially implemented starting next year.
