The broker believed that SUNNY OPTICAL's stock price has already reflected negative news, and anticipated a new earnings growth cycle to begin in 2H25, driven by new growth engines. Morgan Stanley also considered investor concerns over weak shipment of smartphone CCM and lens to be overdone, as improvement in SUNNY OPTICAL's product mix and margin recovery can continue to support earnings recovery this year. As a result, Morgan Stanley expected the Company's 2025/ 2026 earnings to grow strongly by 32%/ 23% each.
