US President Donald Trump inked an executive order to suspend tariff exemptions for packages valued at US$800 or less from all countries and regions starting August 29, foreign media reported.

In May, the US had already revoked related exemptions for China and Hong Kong, meaning the latest action aims to prevent retailers like Temu, Shein, and Amazon (AMZN.US) from routing goods through other countries and regions to avert taxes.
