CAICT: Mobile Phone Shipment Vol. in CN Mkt Slips 21.8% YoY in May
2025-07-04 15:56:19 Mobile phone shipments in the mainland China market was 23.716 million units in May, down 21.8% YoY, according to data released by China Academy of Information and Communications Technology (CAICT). Of which 21.19 million were 5G cell phones, down 17% YoY, accounting for 89.3% of the cell phone shipment volume in the same period. In 5M25, cell phone shipments in the mainland China market amounted to 118 million units, down 2.8% YoY.
