SFC Reportedly Abandons PwC
2025-06-02 09:11:44 PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) was fined heavily last year in mainland China due to the audit controversy involving EVERGRANDE (03333.HK). Following the earlier loss of numerous SOE clients and recent contract terminations by 16 Hong Kong-listed companies, Hong Kong media quoted sources as saying that the Securities and Futures Commission (SFC) also changed to appoint Deloitte recently, which is expected to be disclosed in the latest annual report.
