2025-03-07 14:08:50 BABA-W's (09988.HK) (BABA.US) Alibaba Cloud announced yesterday (6th) the open-sourcing of its inference model QwQ-32B, according to a report issued by Citi. The company claimed that this mode outperforms OpenAI-o1-mini and is comparable to DeepSeek-R1. In Citi's opinion, the swift decision to open-source this model indicates Alibaba Cloud's confidence in its inference model and aim to showcase its development capabilities and to rapidly penetrate a broad user base through AI agent integration. Citi also pointed out that QwQ-32B demonstrates low deployment costs at the consumer-grade GPU level, which could sharply increase its adoption compared to other existing products.
