HK Nov No. of Bankruptcy Petitions Presented Hikes 2.3% YoY; 11M24 Petition Amt 7% More than 2023
2024-12-20 15:33:43 Bankruptcy petitions presented was 833 in Hong Kong in November, down 5% MoM and up 2.3% YoY, according to figures from the Official Receiver's Office of Hong Kong (ORO). The receiving or bankruptcy orders made by the court amounted to 674, down 3.9% MoM and up 23.4% YoY. In 11M24, 8,409 bankruptcy petitions were presented, up 7% from the entire 2023, while 683 compulsory liquidation petitions were filed, nearly 21% more than the entire 2023.
