1st Batch of 8 Overseas UnionPay Partner Wallets Can Scan WeChat Pay

UnionPay International announced a collaboration with WeChat Pay, enabling overseas UnionPay partner wallets to scan domestic WeChat Pay QR codes for payments.

The first batch of wallets to activate this feature includes BoC Pay from Bank of China (Hong Kong), Octopus, PayMe by HSBC, and Tap & Go in Hong Kong, Bangkok Bank Mobile Banking and K PLUS in Thailand, NAVER Pay in South Korea, as well as ICBC Mobile Banking (ICBC Pay) in Malaysia.
