2024-08-12 16:30:56 CHINA LIT (00772.HK) has announced its interim results for six months ended 30 June 2024. Its turnover rose 27.7% YoY to RMB4.191 billion, while the net profit amounted to RMB504 million, up 33.9% YoY. EPS was RMB0.5. No dividend was declared. During the period, non-IFRS net profit increased by 16.4% YoY to RMB702 million. In 1H24, the company delivered an exceptional performance in its live action TV and film business. Its film YOLO (熱辣滾燙) continues to lead China's box office sales in 2024 so far, while the drama series The Legend of Shen Li (與鳳行), Joy of Life 2 (慶餘年第二季), and The Tale of Rose (玫瑰的故事) were all released to critical acclaim. Among them, Joy of Life 2's popularity index surpassed 34,000 points, setting an all-time record high.
