As the May Day holiday approaches, the China travel market is experiencing a boom in bookings.

As of yesterday (24th), the number of bookings for culture and tourism during the May Day holiday, including scenic spots, accommodation and transportation, surged by over 190% WoW, according to the latest data released by Meituan.

Beijing, Shanghai, Chengdu, Chongqing, Xi'an, Changsha, Guangzhou, Wuhan, Nanjing and Qingdao are the top 10 popular destinations in China.
